GOSTAR TERMS OF USE

Effective as of 05/01/2026


We thank You for Your trust in GoStar program in the Gojek Application. Please take a moment to read these GoStar Program Terms of Use (“GoStar Terms of Use”) carefully.


These GoStar Terms of Use form an integral part of the Gojek Terms of Use. By using the Loyalty Program (as defined below) in the Gojek Application, You are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to these GoStar Terms of Use. If You do not agree to any part of these GoStar Terms of Use, please discontinue Your use of the GoStar Program.
  1. General Terms

    Unless specifically defined herein, capitalised terms shall have the same meaning as provided under the Gojek Terms of Use.


    • “Loyalty Program” (herein referred to as “GoStar”) means the loyalty program organized and operated by Us, currently known as “GoStar” (or such other name as We may determine and notify you from time to time), accessible to Members through the Application.


    • “Member” means a User who is registered as a member of GoStar.

    • “Status Stars” means indicators in the form of points or numbers, which may be accumulated in accordance with these GoStar Terms of Use.

    • “Reward Stars” means indicators in the form of points or numbers, which may be redeemed for Rewards in accordance with provisions determined by Us from time to time.

    • “GoStar Page” means the dedicated section in the Application containing details of Stars, Levels, Benefits, Rewards, and other information related to GoStar.

    • “Level” means the tier of a Member’s status based on Status Stars accumulation.

    • “Benefits” means privileges in the form of goods, services, vouchers, coupons and/or other forms that may be enjoyed by Members by virtue of their Level.

    • “Rewards” means specific offers obtained by redeeming Reward Stars.


    • “Level Period” means the duration a Member holds a certain Level, as determined by Us.

  2. Membership Provisions

    1. Participation is by invitation or eligibility criteria determined by Us.
    2. After receiving Our invitation, the User may decide whether or not the User wishes to become a Member through the communication channels available in the Application.
    3. After the User provides consent to be registered as a Member, the User may access the GoStar Page and start earning Stars and accessing Benefits in accordance with these GoStar Terms of Use.
  3. Provisions on Stars

    1. Members earn Stars upon fulfilling requirements determined and communicated by Us from time to time.

    2. The formula for calculating Stars is determined at Our sole discretion and may be updated periodically.

    3. Types of Stars: a. Status Stars: accumulated to determine the Member’s Level. b. Reward Stars: Redeemed for Rewards in accordance with these Terms.

    4. We may award additional Stars for promotional purposes at Our sole discretion. Such awards are non-obligatory and do not create a continuing entitlement.

    5. Stars have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and may only be used in accordance with these GoStar Terms of Use.

    6. The validity period of any issued Stars shall be determined by Us in accordance with the applicable program mechanics and such information will be available to Members through the Application or other communication channels as determined by Us. Expired Stars will be forfeited without further notice.

    7. Redeeming Reward Starts will deduct from your Reward Stars balance but will not reduce your Status Stars.

  4. Provisions on Levels

    1. Levels are determined by Status Stars thresholds.
    2. All new Members start at the base Level.
    3. The types of Levels in effect are determined by Us at Our sole discretion and as We communicate from time to time.
    4. A Member will remain at a certain Level during the applicable Level Period or until the Member moves to a higher Level, whichever occurs first.
    5. A Member will move to a higher Level when the minimum accumulated Status Stars required for that higher Level is achieved.
    6. A Member will remain at the same Level at the end of a Level Period if the Member successfully achieves the minimum required Status Stars during such Level Period.
    7. At the end of a Level Period, a Member’s status is re-evaluated. If the threshold for the current Level is not met, the Member will be moved to the appropriate lower Level.
  5. Provisions on Benefits

    1. Members may enjoy Benefits available at each Level as determined by Us at Our sole discretion and as We communicate to Members from time to time.
    2. Benefits may differ for each Member, for each Level and from time to time, as determined by Us at Our sole discretion.
    3. The availability, type and quantity of Benefits are limited and may be changed, replaced or discontinued by Us at any time.
    4. Our obligations to Members for the provision of Benefits arise at the beginning of the applicable Level Period and end at the earlier of:
      a. the end of such Level Period;
      b. the Member’s move to another Level; or
      c. the Benefits being fully redeemed or declared invalid.
    5. The provision of Benefits under GoStar is a separate policy from Our provision of the Application to Users and/or Service Providers.
  6. Provisions on Rewards

    1. Members may redeem their Reward Stars selection of offers made available on the GoStar Page.
    2. By redeeming Reward Stars for a Reward, You are deemed to understand and agree that each redemption is subject to the specific terms and conditions applicable to the Rewards.
    3. Redeemed Rewards have an expiry date as communicated upon redemption. If not used before expiration, Redeemed Rewards will automatically expire and cannot be used or returned, and the Reward Stars used to redeem such Voucher will not be reinstated.
    4. Redemptions are subject to availability, and once a voucher is issued, it cannot be exchanged, refunded, or reissued except as required by law. We reserve the right to verify user eligibility and to refuse or cancel any redemption activity that appears fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with these Terms.
  7. Action We Deemed Necessary

    1. If We know or have sufficient reason to suspect that You have violated the Gojek Terms of Use, these GoStar Terms of Use or applicable law, We may take any action We deem necessary at Our sole discretion, including: (i) reducing or not granting Stars; (ii) downgrading, maintaining or not upgrading Your Level; (iii) reducing or ceasing Your Benefits; (iv) suspending or freezing Your GoStar membership (“Membership Freezing”); (v) conducting investigations; (vi) claiming damages; (vii) reporting to competent authorities; and/or (viii) taking any other civil or criminal legal action.
    2. If You are subject to Membership Freezing and believe such action is unwarranted, You may submit evidence to Us for review. Membership Freezing will not continue unreasonably if We determine that the matters underlying such action have been resolved.
    3. If Membership Freezing occurs or if the GoStar Program is terminated, You will no longer be a Member and therefore: (i) You will no longer have access to the GoStar Page; (ii) You will no longer earn Stars; and (iii) You will no longer enjoy any Benefits.
  8. General Provisions

    1. We reserve our right to make changes to these GoStar Terms of Use from time to time by providing notifications via the Gojek Application and/or the GoTo website. 
    2. Gojek reserves the right to: (i) make changes to Benefits and/or Rewards at any time; and (ii) reject any users from subscribing to GoStar based on Gojek’s own discretion and consideration. By continuing access and usage of GoStar continuously after the changes come into effect, You will be deemed to have agreed to the latest terms and conditions.
    3. Complaints relating to the GoStar Program may be submitted to Us. We will review such complaints and provide a response in accordance with Our internal procedures once complete information is received.
    4. We may provide notifications through the GoStar Page, Your registered phone number or email listed in Your Account.
    5. You can contact Us through the Help Page in the Gojek App or by email through customerservice@gojek.com. All Your correspondence will be recorded and stored for Our records.
