Milestones

2010

20 motorcycle taxis, one call centre, and a mission to remove friction from daily life. Gojek (then GO-JEK) starts painting the town green.

2015

Enter the Gojek app. Operations expand beyond Jakarta. Food delivery takes off, and Series A funding rolls in.

2016

Gojek becomes Indonesia’s first unicorn.

2017

Ranks 17th among Fortune’s Top 20 companies that changed the world. Growth outpaces everyone's expectations. Growth outpaces everyone's expectations.

2018

Expands to Singapore.

2019

Listed among Fortune’s favorites again! Over 2 million driver-partners registered on the platform.

2020

Crosses 190 million app downloads. GoFood became one of the world's most helpful and user-friendly services during the pandemic.

2021

GoTo is formed – the “go to” ecosystem for daily life.

2022

GoTo officially conducts its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and launches GoTransit, the world’s first multimodal service integrating ride-hailing and public transport

2023

Supports GoTo achieves positive adjusted EBITDA in Q4 2023, as per our guidance.

2024

Launches Gojek PLUS, a subscription program offering users attractive discounts on various transaction across Gojek services.

2025

Large-scale appreciation for our partners through Mitra Juara Gojek-GoPay.
